WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS
Women entrepreneurs in India have come a long way.
Women alone constitute at least half of the world's
population. No wonder they are said to be the better half. In India, women were caged into the four walls formed by the Indian
society back in the days.
Not going back to the caged times, women somehow
managed to break through the walls to shine brighter than ever. There are
various evidences where women are seen performing
exceedingly well in everything, be it academic, sports, politics or social
work.
More and more women have started shifting to the
entrepreneurial or the business world being the self sufficient and
independent women they always wished to be.
Let's have a look at why women are prefering the
entrepreneurial pathway.
1) Flexibility -
We have progressed a lot but women still are the primary part of the household. They look
for work life balance where they can pay equal attention to the business as
well as the household.
2) They now know their worth -
Women have been pulled down a lot just because of their
gender. Yes! gender discrimination still exists. you can't change what's not in
your control but you can surely change yourself, by being your own Boss. Women now know their worth and have started switching to the
business world.
3) Passion -
A 9to5 job, insurance and job security are no more the elements of success for
everyone. But following something you love, something that inspires you to work
is surely success in terms of happiness are looking for.
