Women entrepreneurs in India have come a long way.

Women alone constitute at least half of the world's population. No wonder they are said to be the better half. In India, women were caged into the four walls formed by the Indian society back in the days.
Not going back to the caged times, 
women somehow managed to break through the walls to shine brighter than ever. There are various evidences where women are seen performing exceedingly well in everything, be it academic, sports, politics or social work.
More and more 
women have started shifting to the entrepreneurial or the business world being the self sufficient and independent women they always wished to be.

1) Flexibility -
 We have progressed a lot but 
women still are the primary part of the household. They look for work life balance where they can pay equal attention to the business as well as the household.
2) They now know their worth -
Women have been pulled down a lot just because of their gender. Yes! gender discrimination still exists. you can't change what's not in your control but you can surely change yourself, by being your own Boss. Women now know their worth and have started switching to the business world.
3) Passion -
A 9to5 job, insurance and job security are no more the elements of success for everyone. But following something you love, something that inspires you to work is surely success in terms of happiness  are looking for.

The Indian society was male dominated for all the years one can remember. The winds change directions and in India that took a little too long but, the winds changed their direction. You know, better late than never. Women in India have had it all journey from being just a home maker to being  the role model for other women. From being in a corporate job at Infosys to being an entrepreneur Chitra Gurnani Daga is the co-founder of the tours and travel company named Thrillophilia which started back in 2009. A pure example of following your passion
